A battery owners can reach
Beyerdynamic’s AVENTHO Y, introduced in September, makes a replaceable battery and interchangeable ear cushions part of its wireless-headphone design. That gives owners a maintenance option when a worn battery or cushion becomes the weak point, rather than treating the whole headset as one sealed consumable.
The manufacturer lists more than 90 hours of playback without active noise cancellation and more than 60 hours with ANC. Keep those modes separate: the larger number does not describe a commute spent cancelling background noise. These are advertised ratings, not measurements by Nexus Theory.
Battery ratings meet everyday use
In a September 11 hands-on review, Tom’s Guide reported about 50 hours of playback with ANC enabled and volume at 50%, with 5% charge remaining. That is one reviewer’s result under stated conditions, not proof that every unit will deliver the same runtime.
Beyerdynamic lists SBC and AAC codecs, Bluetooth 6.0 and multipoint support. Its support documentation also confirms wired listening through the supplied USB-C cable. The Bluetooth version alone does not tell you which audio formats are supported, while a wired connection is a separate option to check against your devices.
Keep the whole ownership decision in view
A replaceable cell does not guarantee indefinite spare-parts supply. Check the correct battery, replacement instructions and support for your country before relying on future maintenance. Follow the manufacturer’s procedure rather than treating a conceptual illustration as a disassembly guide.
