When you browse

The site code does not include advertising pixels or third-party visitor analytics. We use technical information to operate and secure the website, relying on our legitimate interests in providing a reliable service where the GDPR applies.

A preference, not a profile

Switching between light and dark mode saves a value called nexus-theme in your browser’s local storage. It stays there until you change it or clear the site’s stored data. Search uses a downloaded index of our public content; the site’s search code does not send your search terms to an external search provider.

Cloudflare processes information through its global infrastructure, which can include locations outside the European Economic Area. Its privacy policy and data processing terms describe its processing and transfer safeguards.

When you leave a message

The contact form asks for your email address and message. Your name is optional. Please don’t include passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information.

We use the information you provide to read your enquiry, reply and follow up where needed. Sending a message does not subscribe you to marketing. When direct form sending is available, Cloudflare processes the request and Zoho Mail handles the email. Cloudflare Turnstile checks browser and network signals to help prevent automated spam. Where the GDPR applies, general correspondence is handled on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. Requests about a potential business agreement may instead be processed to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Correspondence is kept for as long as it is needed to handle the enquiry and any relevant follow-up, legal obligation or dispute. You can ask about the information held about you, or request its deletion, using the email above.

When you visit a retailer

Some links to Amazon.de contain an affiliate identifier. If you follow one, the retailer receives information from your visit and may use its own cookies and account data. Nexus Theory may earn a commission on qualifying purchases.

Retailer websites handle their own checkout, payment and privacy settings. Read the retailer’s privacy notice when you leave this site. A buying link is not a request to share your payment details with Nexus Theory.
