OMRON M7 Intelli AFib: a cuff monitor with a clearer record

The supplied Intelli Wrap cuff fits an upper-arm circumference of 22–42cm. Check that range before choosing the monitor for yourself or another household member. A cuff that does not fit is not fixed by Bluetooth or extra screening features. Use a supported seated position and the preparation described in the manual, keeping the arm supported and still. Consistent conditions make a record more useful than occasional rushed checks. TruRead takes three measurements and provides an average, but repetition does not correct poor cuff fit or preparation. Agree the timing and interpretation of home checks with your clinician.

This model examines pulse-wave irregularity during a cuff measurement and can flag possible atrial fibrillation. It does not record an ECG or establish a diagnosis. M7 stores up to 100 readings for each of two users and offers a guest mode. Select the correct user before measuring so the record remains meaningful. Bluetooth transfer to a compatible phone is optional; check OMRON connect support before relying on it.
