iOttie Easy One Touch 6: choose a secure place for your phone

Easy One Touch 6 is useful when you want a clamp that works without a magnetic case or electrical power. This link selects the dashboard and windshield version, not an air-vent fitting.

Choose a position that leaves the road view, vehicle controls and airbag areas clear. Check the vehicle’s mounting guidance before attaching anything. The product photograph includes a phone to show how the cradle works; that phone is not part of the package.

Fit the phone with its everyday case attached. The lower foot adjusts vertically, and the side arms close when the phone presses the trigger. Check that the arms do not press side buttons or clash with a bulky case feature.

The charging port remains accessible, but a stiff connector needs room below the phone. The built-in cord organiser holds a cable; it does not supply power. Plan a separate cable and vehicle charger if needed.

The ball joint changes orientation and the arm adjusts reach and angle. Position the screen while parked, then tighten the adjustment knobs and check that the assembly holds its position.

The manufacturer page specifies 5–6.75 inches of reach, while its manual and Amazon bullets give different maxima. We cannot resolve that from the published material. If a few centimetres determine whether your installation works, confirm the actual unit rather than relying on the largest advertised figure.

The suction cup and dashboard pad have different reuse rules. The cup can be rinsed and air-dried; the pad uses semi-permanent adhesive and is not reusable after removal. Test the location before exposing that adhesive.

For dashboard installation, follow the manual’s waiting period and temperature guidance. iOttie recommends windshield mounting for leather dashboards. On glass, use the suction cup directly rather than adding the dashboard pad.

This mount suits someone who changes phones or cases and wants a mechanical grip. It is less suitable when there is no appropriate mounting surface or when integrated wireless charging is the main requirement.

Check the hold periodically, particularly after changes in temperature or repositioning. We have not tested it on roads or measured retention force. The guide explains the documented mechanism and installation requirements without promising performance in every vehicle.
